Why people work with me.
Is this your calling?
Move from coping to intentional change
People come to me when they are ready to make a meaningful change but want to approach it with clarity rather than impulse.
You may be reconsidering your work after a job loss, questioning a relationship, recovering from sustained pressure or recognising that external success no longer feels fulfilling.
You may want to become more resilient, improve your relationships, set clearer boundaries or reconnect with energy, purpose and a stronger sense of self.
You may also be preparing for a psychedelic experience, looking for guidance in choosing a responsible retreat setting or trying to understand an experience that continues to affect your emotions, relationships and decisions.
My clients are capable, reflective people who are used to taking responsibility. They are not looking for someone to fix them or tell them how to live.
They want grounded, professional support without judgement or dogma: a space to examine their situation, identify recurring patterns and consider perspectives they may not see alone.
Psychedelic-informed coaching can make emotions, needs and inner conflicts more accessible—but insight is only the beginning.
Together, we translate what you recognise into concrete decisions, conversations, boundaries and changes you can carry into everyday life.
You may recognise yourself here
“I have achieved a lot, but I want my next chapter to feel more meaningful.”
“My work has changed or ended, and I want to use this transition deliberately.”
“I want to become clearer in my relationships and stronger in my boundaries.”
“I want to explore psychedelics responsibly—or turn an experience I have already had into lasting change.”
Why psychedelic experiences can open a window for change
Psychedelic experiences can temporarily alter familiar patterns of perception, emotion and thinking. Research indicates that some psychedelics may promote neural plasticity and psychological flexibility—the capacity to consider new perspectives and respond less automatically.
This can make previously avoided emotions, recurring relationship patterns or unresolved decisions more accessible. But greater openness does not guarantee a helpful or accurate insight. Psychedelic experiences can also be confusing, emotionally demanding or destabilising.
Preparation helps you enter the experience with realistic expectations, a clear intention and an understanding of relevant risks. Integration helps you examine what emerged, distinguish insight from interpretation and decide what deserves a place in your life.
The aim is not to preserve an extraordinary state. It is to use what you learned to make more conscious choices in ordinary life.
My approach & philosophy. Holistic, out of the box and focused on everyday life.
Change becomes more sustainable when we understand the whole picture, question familiar assumptions and give new insights time to become part of everyday life.
SEE THE WHOLE PERSON
Mind, body and context belong together. I listen closely and look beyond the immediate issue. We consider your work, relationships, values, physical health, sleep, energy, recovery, stress and available support. This does not replace medical assessment. It helps us recognise how different parts of your life influence one another and where additional professional support may be useful.
QUESTION THE FAMILIAR STORY
New perspectives create new choices. Many of us inherit fixed ideas about achievement, security and a successful life: work harder, follow the expected path, earn more and keep functioning. We examine which of these beliefs still serve you and which no longer fit. Psychedelic experiences can help loosen familiar perspectives, but they do not decide what is true or right for you. Through reflection, education and careful questioning, we create room for choices that reflect your own values rather than an external definition of success.
LET CHANGE UNFOLD
Integration is a practice, not a quick fix. Meaningful change rarely happens in one insight, one session or one psychedelic experience. It develops layer by layer as you understand recurring patterns, test different responses and learn from what happens next. My approach combines psychedelic education and harm reduction with practical coaching focused on decision-making, relationships, resilience and daily habits. My approach draws on current research on emotion, the nervous system and psychedelic-induced changes in brain function—not as abstract theory, but as the basis for how preparation and integration actually work. [Read the research behind this approach →] We do not rush to turn every insight into immediate action. We identify what matters, allow it to develop and translate it into changes that can hold up in everyday life.
How we work together
Understand your situation.
Assess your needs.
01
We begin with a thorough exploration of your current situation: what is changing, what feels unresolved and what you want to achieve. We look at relevant personal history, recurring patterns, relationships, work, physical wellbeing, stress, sleep, available support and previous experiences with altered states.
If psychedelic work is being considered, we discuss your expectations, motivation, current medication and relevant psychological and physical risk factors. This helps us determine whether psychedelic-informed coaching is appropriate, what level of support you may need and whether medical or psychiatric assessment should take place first.
The outcome of this phase is a clear starting point and a realistic plan—not an automatic decision to have a psychedelic experience.
Approach the psychedelic experience with safe preparation and responsible care.
02
If you decide to pursue a psychedelic experience, we work through the decisions that shape it.
This includes education on potential effects and risks, clarifying your intention and preparing for difficult emotions or unexpected material. We examine your set—your mindset, expectations and current emotional state—and your setting: the physical environment, people involved, professional boundaries, safety procedures and support available afterwards.
If you are considering a retreat, I help you evaluate providers and ask informed questions about their screening, facilitator qualifications, group size, emergency procedures, preparation and integration support. Retreat services and costs are arranged independently with the provider.
Where direct experiential support is part of my work, it takes place only in selected legal settings and within clearly defined professional structures. I also collaborate with retreat centres in the Netherlands while keeping my coaching role and the provider’s responsibilities transparent and separate.
03
Integrate insight into everyday life.
Integration is the most important part of the process. A psychedelic experience may create openness, insight or a different perspective—but it does not implement change for you. Integration is a skill, not a pill.
Over approximately five to ten sessions, we examine what emerged, including valuable insights, difficult emotions, contradictions and questions that remain unresolved. We distinguish a meaningful direction from an intense but temporary impression.
We then translate your insights into concrete action: a conversation, a clearer boundary, a new routine, a career decision, a different relationship pattern or a healthier way of responding to pressure.
We review what happens when you apply these changes, identify where familiar patterns return and adjust the plan. The aim is not to hold on to an extraordinary experience. It is to build choices and practices that improve your everyday life.
Safety, Ethics & Responsibility
Responsible psychedelic work requires more than good intentions. I provide clear information, careful preparation and defined professional boundaries so that you can make informed decisions about your own path.
Psychedelic experiences are not appropriate for everyone or every situation. My role is to help you approach the subject with realistic expectations, relevant information and clear professional boundaries.
SAFETY
Assess risks. Prepare thoroughly.
We discuss relevant physical and psychological risk factors, current medication, personal history, set and setting, and the support available before and after an experience.
Your safety matters most. I help you identify what you may not know or see, ask informed questions, select appropriate containers, and respect your health, boundaries and readiness throughout the process.
ETHICS
No pressure. No promises. No dogma.
I do not romanticise psychedelics or provide substances. I respect your autonomy, privacy, pace and beliefs. I help you make informed decisions, with the support systems and resources you need for meaningful change.
RESPONSIBILITY
Clear roles. Informed choices. Ongoing integration.
You remain fully responsible for your choices and path.
I take care of a professional scope. My work provides coaching, education, preparation and integration support. It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment and it is not suitable for acute psychological crises. If another form of support is more appropriate, I will say so clearly and help identify a suitable next step.

Yes — psychedelic coaching focuses solely on education, preparation, and integration around these experiences. It involves no administration, provision, or promotion of any substances, or substance use. The work is entirely based on dialogue, reflection, and psychological support — always within a safe, responsible, and legal framework — so that the transformation becomes truly your own.
-
My work is grounded in the values of Courage, Clarity, and Compassion. I believe true transformation begins when we pause, listen deeply, and dare to realign with what truly matters — beyond external markers like status, success, or performance. I trust that real wisdom cannot be taught from the outside; it must be experienced from within. Certain modalities like Psychedelics and other expanded states of awareness like Meditation and Breathwork can act as doorways to this inner knowing, they open our normal level of consciousness, helping us uncover what has long been buried rather than relying on others to define what’s “right” for us. As Rumi said: “Why do you stay in prison when the door is wide open?” — we are free to step out of inherited patterns, heal old wounds, and choose a different path. At its heart, my philosophy is about returning to our own inner compass — and coming home to ourselves, in peace with who we are and those around us.
-
Altered or expanded states of awareness — sometimes called non-ordinary states of consciousness — are ways of experiencing reality that go beyond our usual waking state. They can be reached through meditation, breathwork, or psychedelic substances. These states can open new perspectives on yourself and the world — shifting how you think, feel, and connect. They often reveal hidden patterns, deepen self-awareness, and bring a sense of unity and meaning. Research in neuroscience shows that during such states, the brain’s neuroplasticity — its ability to form new connections and break habitual patterns — is heightened, creating a unique window for lasting change.
